Gianni, I must tell you that your latest production of pictures really seems above your average standard, which remains quite otherwordly and oustanding in any case.

Anyway, concerning this particular photograph, I don't know why but it reminds me of some spacecrat view - maybe I'm too much into SciFi recently.
Very impressive indeed.

I hope this won't disappoint you, but I'm pretty allergic to sci-fi. As much so as I have never seen any of the Star Trek saga chapters.
In fact this is the Duca d'Aosta bridge crossing the Tiber river in Rome. The bridge leads towards the sports area of the Foro Italico, a masterwork of the Rationalist architecture.
It's a photograph that took time to be conceived of, as I often ride my bicycle in those surroundings but I only stopped there a couple of times to take some shots. The second time was the good one.

Oh no, Gianni, I'm not disappointed by any means. When I look at your abstract pictures I often make some visual associations and this was the time for SciFi ... I think it works more or less like a modern and dynamic version of the Rorschach test.

Stefano,
I like this parallel with the the Rorschach test. It's worth a deeper thinking.

@Stefano, my first thought on seeing this image was "Ringworld"

Gianni: yes, I think it would be worthy of some investigation. To be honest, I've never heard of any essay on the perception of abstract photographies. We could be unaware pioneers of a new study field.

Lou: strange enough, I was planning to read something by Larry Niven. I'm also happy to hear that someone else thinks that Gianni's work is comparable to a visual science fiction, in the sense that he is light years above the average.
