Well I've ordered it. Looking forward to seeing it!

David,
thank you very much for this token of your consideration.
With this body of work I challenged myself into making something out of lighting conditions I'm totally unfamiliar with. On the other hand the mood those locations irradiate is all about the uncanniness I have been trying to portray in my photographs all my life.
I won't miss the chance to redirect PhotoGraphia readers to your blog

to your Flickr photostream

where your insightful musings on street photography are neatly and cleverly layed-out.

Ciao Gianni, thank you very much for your kind words!

I have just published my short review of Norway, Texas - http://www.snowhenge.net/pblog/article/norway_texas_by_gianni_galassi

I only read your comment here after I wrote the review, so I'm pleased to see that my reaction to the book seems to be pretty much in tune what what you were trying to achieve.

complimenti, e un ottimo lavoro.

Thank you, David,
for the flattering and motivating words you used in your review.
I'm currently in the process of selecting a body of monochrome photographs for a new book which, hopefully, could ignite my next exhibition.
BTW, congrats for your Italian.
